Privacy

Short version: we ask for your email address so we can send you one file and occasional writing. Nothing else is collected, nothing is sold, and you can leave in one click.

What we collect

Your email address, and only if you type it into the form yourself. There is no other field, and nothing is required to read this site.

What we do with it

We send you The Fine Print Decoder, and after that occasional writing on the same subject. That is the whole use.

You have to confirm your address before anything is sent. Until you confirm, Kit holds it only to send that one confirmation email. If you never confirm, you receive nothing further and the address is not added to any mailing.

Who else handles it

Our email is sent through Kit, an email service provider, which stores your address on our behalf so it can deliver the messages. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your address with anyone else, and we do not use it to advertise anything to you elsewhere.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes ordinary request data such as IP addresses in order to serve pages and block abuse. That happens for every visitor whether or not you ever use the form.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising tag, and no third party script. Beyond the standard server logs the host keeps, described above, we add nothing: we do not know who visits, which pages they read, or where they came from.

How to leave

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also write to hello@lostthoughtmedia.com and ask to be removed, or ask what we hold about you, and we will do it.

Who we are

The Fiduciary Files is published by Lost Thought Media LLC, a Wyoming registered company. Postal address and company details are on the company contact page.

Changes

If what we collect or how we use it changes, this page changes with it rather than afterwards.
